Overview

The UNSW Advanced Communication Skills in Science course (SCIF7000) introduces you to how science is communicated in a range of settings, to a range of audiences and in a range of formats. You will examine key frameworks and methods of communication and apply them to effectively communicate and represent science in various contexts. You will also learn how to evaluate science communication efforts and analyse the data. Learning activities and assessments will be integrated through case studies featuring models of science communication and strategies for creating effective pieces of communication in line with the themes of the case studies.
