NAVIGATING myCMS

Open the Files Pane.
Navigating TeamSite is similar to how one navigates using Windows Explorer. Clicking on the Folders in the Directories Window will show all files in the Files Window. Folders are directly associated with the site information architecture.

You can only edit those files which have your User ID associated with them. You will not for instance be able to edit files in either the OHS directory or the About directory.

The Content Management System manages two types of pages.
html Pages
All html pages on the BEES website are held in the htdocs directory. These pages are created by the Content Management System which combines the Document Capture Record (DCR) with the presentation template and the stylesheets to create a html page. Any page that has been edited and approved will show in this folder. It is connected to the corresponding DCR and presentation template in the templatedata directory.

Template Pages
This directory holds all the Document Capture Records. Once a DCR has been submitted and approved the end result is a HTML page which is stored in the htdocs directory. When you wish to update the information on the website, it is the DCRs in this directory you will be editing.
