PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
  • 1967 - 1971
Numerous surveys using land and marine seismic, resistivity, IP, EM, gravity, magnetics, and well logging for engineering, groundwater, coal and mineral exploration.
  • 1971 - 1980
Specialised in seismic refraction methods for geotechnical and groundwater applications, eventually resulting in the development of the generalized reciprocal method (GRM).
  • 1980 - 1990
Specialised in high resolution seismic reflection methods, including 3D methods, for coal exploration, coal mining, and petroleum.
  • 1990 - 1992
Regional seismic reflection survey, Cobar Basin.
  • 1992 - present
Senior Lecturer in Geophysics at UNSW. Development and delivery of courses in environmental, groundwater, geotechnical, exploration, petroleum and mining geophysics.
