EVOLUTIONARY ECOLOGY OF SEXUAL REPRODUCTION RESEARCH GROUP
Our foremost interest is evolution, particularly in the context of sexual reproduction. We use the tools of quantitative genetics, functional genomics and behavioural ecology to test sexual selection and life history theory. Research toipics include the biology of ageing, the evolution of mate choice (including polyandry and differential allocation), sexual dimorphism, sex determination, genomic imprinting and the Y chromosome, and the evolutionary consequences of inbreeding.
