Physiology of epithelial tissues of marsupials, particularly:
- Mechanisms of salivary secretion and their evolution.
- Adaptation of salivary composition to diet. Renal function and its evolution.
- Endocrinology of adult marsupials and the development of endocrine tissues and hormonal competence in pouch-young.
- Aspects of crocodile biology.
