Karen is currently doing her PhD at Griffith University with Prof. Joe Lee and A/Prof. Rod Connolly.
She is studying the impacts of urbanisation on sandflat ecology. Karen is using stable isotopes enrichment and ecological modelling techniques to investigate how urbanisation, e.g. eutrophication, affects the sandflat foodweb structure.
