Many injuries at UNSW result from manual handling. There is obviously a great likelihood of such injuries occurring to members of this school because of the activities carried out here. Staff most at risk should be trained in Manual Handling - please contact the School Safety Officer who can arrange a Manual Handling Training Course.

 

You must seek assistance when moving or lifting heavy or difficult objects.

 

A Forklift Pallet Trolley is available (see Biological Sciences Storeman - Room G29).

 

A dedicated Manual Handling trolley is also available as are other three wheel trolleys (see School Safety Officer).
