At the recent Emergent Geographies Conference, Danielle Drozdzewski (UNSW BEES) was awarded one of the two prizes for An Outstanding Presentation.
The conference was the inaugural postgraduate student conference of The Geographical Society of NSW, and it was held at the University of NSW on Thursday 15th November, 2007. Seven students from UNSW presented, including four from BEES. Danielle's paper was titled: "Exploring Polish Cultural Memory in Diaspora".
She was awarded her prize by the Society President Associate Professor Gordon Waitt (UoW).
