Dr Russell Bonduriansky has been awarded the prestigious Theodosius Dobzhansky Prize by the Society for the Study of Evolution. This prize is awarded annually by the Society for the Study of Evolution to recognize the accomplishments and future promise of an outstanding young evolutionary biologist. Russell will receive his award and deliver a special plenary lecture on his work this June at the society's 2006 meeting in Stony Brook, N.Y.

 

Russell is an ARC Postdoctoral Fellow in the Evolutionary Ecology of Sexual Reproduction Research Group, working on sexual selection, the evolution of sexual dimorphism and the biology of ageing.
