Ahmad Mokhtari has won the award for the best student poster paper at the 23rd International Applied Geochemistry Symposium held in Oviedo, Spain, in July. His paper on 'Detection of Deeply Buried Mineralization Using Ground Conductivity Measurements' was selected ahead of 60 other student poster papers.

 

The paper was co-authored with Simon Gatehouse and David Cohen. Ahmad has recently submitted his PhD thesis.
