On Tuesday evening 11th September, Samantha Travers received her award as the best performing Geography student in second year for 2006.
The prize ceremony was held at the Assembly Hall, Old Teachers College, University of Sydney. Each year the prizes are awarded to students from all NSW Universities who topped Geography in second year. Students receive a certificate, gift voucher and membership of the Society for one year.
Along with her peers from the other universities, Samantha was handed her award by the President of the Geographical Society of NSW, Professor Gordon Waitt (UoW).
