Professor Michael Archer (Dean of Science) presented Jennifer with the certificate, while Yvonne McKay (Corporate Affairs Executive for Coca-Cola Amatil) presented her with a cheque for $5000. This scholarship is coordinated by the Centre for Groundwater Studies and is awarded annually to stimulate interest in groundwater research for final year undergraduate students.

 

Jennifer's honours project is concerned with using geochemical tools to determine the extent of interaction between surface and ground waters in the Riversleigh region of far NW Queensland.

 

She is co-supervised by Dr Ian Graham (UNSW) and Dr Dioni Cendon (ANSTO).
