I am broadly interested in the application of mathematical modelling methods to questions in evolution and ecology.

Much of my research concerns the evolutionary origins of the two sexes, the evolution of reproductive strategies, and the evolutionary and ecological implications of sexual reproduction in general. However, I am interested in many aspects of evolutionary biology and its interaction with ecology, and have occasionally forayed into topics such as molecular evolution, demography and predator-prey interactions.
